Premier Electrics continues its long association with Primark in 2011 with contracts for new and existing stores throughout the UK and Europe.
The High Street chain is undergoing radical upgrades in many of its flagship stores, requiring very precise planning from Premier who will be working in some cases in stores while they continue to trade.
It is in challenges like these where our expertise and experience comes into its own with seamless replacement of old lighting systems carried out with no disruption to the everyday workings of what are busy retail outlets.
The first project at Bexley Heath in the south of England is well underway.
A new extension has been built to the 40,000 square foot store and the existing premises are undergoing a huge refurbishment.
We will be stripping out the existing lighting system and replacing it in what will be a phased 33 week scheme.
Work is also underway on two 50,000 square foot stores in Stockport and Middlesbrough.
In Stockport we have taken over an old Co-op store and the Premier team will be stripping out the original lighting system to install to Primark standards in what will be a tight 17 week turnaround.
The team working on Middlesbrough will be hands on round the clock stripping out old lighting and installing new in what will be a live store.
